Lawton Fire Station

Gabe and I went to the fire station to help a friend out with a photo shoot and when we were all done they let us play inside the the station! Gabe and I had so much fun! We got to slide down the fire pole...
sit on a cool red bench with BIG fireman boots....
Sit on the Has Mat truck...
And even sit in the driver seat of the fire engine!
Thanks so much! We had a great time!

We went to a super fun birthday party at a place called Laugh Out Loud. We had a blast! They had balloons and cake and balls. I mean really what more in life could you possibly ask for? Gabe had a BLAST playing the SKI BALL table. He never actually got any points, but he loved tossing the balls. We had to stop him from climbing all over everything.

Matt and Gabe got to drive a car. I think they came in 5th place. WOW!

They had a fun ball pit/jungle gym/thingy. You could shoot balls at other people on the top and do all these fun things with balls... We all kinda loved it.

Other than that.... Oh yeah, I was in a play (A Funny Thing Happend on the Way to the Forum). It was great fun. I can't belive I went to school and majored in playing. It was a lot of time away from family and that was hard but we had a great time.

I will post my AMAZING Halloween costume for Gabe this week... or next. It was quite FANTASTIC! I was suprised he could walk in it. :) Well I will chat with you all soon. I promise.

WE are ALIVE!

Don't worry! Grandma and Grandpa (Matt's folks) were in town and took lots of pictures so be prepared! We moved into our house... isn't it pretty?! I kinda have to pinch myself and say this is real!

This is our house.

POSE!

This is our back Yard and back of house... No pictures of the inside unless you want to see boxes and mess...

This is where Matt works.

This is where his new office building will be when they finish it. We can't wait for him to have more space.

Grandma

Grandpa

HOME SWEET HOME. Thanks so much for the House warming gift! WE LOVE IT!

Gabe. He is getting so big.

Buffalo right outside our car on the way to dinner. Whatever, no big deal.

We are loving our new house! Trying to adjust to all the space, but I am NOT complaining. We feel very blessed. So basically Y'all can come visit and have your own room and bathroom and some good company and I will even cook for you! (Matt will do the dishes).
I will do better now that I have the Internet officially!

OK OK OK! I don't technically have the internet so this might not work lets all cross our little fingers and hope that it does.

We are in Lawton OK. We are buying a house... I would show you some beautiful pictures, but our camera drowned and so it doesn't work. I would show you a link but they have taken it off most web sights. All in all this is a pretty useless blog except to tell ya'll we are alive.

We are staying in this ..... apartment......that I.....we.....well we are here.

Matt is really busy with work, trying to get their system down and there is only one other PT and she is dangerously close to being put on bedrest for the 5 remaining months of her pregnancy. If she does, I will not see my husband until like 10 at night. This will sadden me.

We are going to church, we have made some friends, but it is crazy how much we took VG for granted. We haven't been on a date, or left the house with out Gabe for a whole month! How do you people do it?! I also just don't know any babysitters, and would be embarissed if I had to bring her to this place... no internet, tv. I would have to pay her extra to just sit here!

I have become friends with the library we go 2 or 3 times a week. I have been reading books and swimming in the pool with Gabe a lot. I am really board out of my mind, but things are going well.

We are supposed to close on our house the 28th of August, or sooner. I love it! It has a big kitchen and 4 bedrooms and a back yard and a garage. It is really pretty. I can't wait to move in!

Well that is all the up date I can muster. I hope everyone is doing well. Talk to you soon!

Although we have never seen the movie, we do know some of the music. Garth Brooks lives there, so does/did Louis Lamour. There are tornado's, and hail storms, and no mountains. The capital is Oklahoma City, and I know where it is on a map.

I think this qualifies us to live there. So next month we will be packing up and moving south to Lawton Oklahoma.

We have accepted a job at South West Medical Center. Matt will be doing all sorts of Physical Therapy there, but mostly Orthopedic and Neurological. We are exited!

Here is a map of where our new home will be. Pretty nifty hu?

YEAH FOR JOBS!

good bye snot sucker!

Sorry, there is so much going on! We have not decided where we are moving but we do know that we are moving seeing as we have sold our house. It will be either Eagar AZ or Lawton OK. Please give your advise. We just have no clue. We flew out to see them both this weekend and we were equally impressed. What do we do?

Matt FINALLY graduates... in two days! I can't believe it. My grandparents and Littlest brother and Sister (Josh and Toni) are coming out. We are going to the zoo tomorrow. I can't wait to show Toni. She LOVES animals! Forget Graduation, lets just go to the ZOO! I am going to miss it so much!

ALSO Gabe blew his nose today for the first time. HOORAY! NO MORE ICKY GROSS BLUE SNOT SUCKER!

All in all a great day and a fantastic week!

so stressed and so itchy!

I don't know what is wrong with me. All I want to do all day is itch and scratch and I feel like I have flees. I think perhaps I am stress itching. We have decided to try and sell our townhouse in Village Green and seek employment outside of Omaha. We are sad about it, but we think it is time to move on. If you or any one you know is planning on moving to Omaha, or are looking to relocate to Village Green, we have made a blog for our home you can visit it at 151vg.blogspot.com. We don't know where we will be moving, and when, but I will keep you posted. In the mean time I am hoping I have some skin left after my massive itchyness goes away. Any idea on how to make it stop?

Matt's birthday!

OK so his birthday was on the second, but I feel like I was so busy catching up I needed a break from updating, and Matt told me not to... but when do I listen to him?

We had a family party for Matt and Sean on Sunday the 1st. Sean's birthday is actually on leap day so his birthday celebration lasts a whole week. It was fun. I made pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, and they were GREAT! Sarah made an amazing cheesecake and we devoured all that we could handle. YUM YUM!

On Matts actual day, he had to work, and work a little late, and wasn't feeling very well at all. He told every one he didn't want a cake and if we made one he wouldn't eat it... so I made pudding and put a candle in it. He layed on the couch and blew it out...he went to bed early that night. poor sick birthday boy.

We also have been enjoying some spring like weather which is great 'cause I have no car and am getting stir crazy in the in laws house... spring is welcome anytime. We went to the park on Saturday and Gabe was ADORABLE as usual. Swinging, sliding on the slide and flying a kite.

Not a fan.

I don't know if any of you have heard of the show Big Love on HBO, but I am completly horrified. On Sunday, March 15, 2009, HBO will be airing a segment of their Big Love series titled Goin' to the Chapel. In this segment, they will be showing individuals dressed in full temple clothing (you can see the picture right in the TV guideitself), and they are planning on showing sacred ceremonies that are performed there. If you would like to read the churches statement about it, click here:
http://newsroom.lds.org/ldsnewsroom/eng/commentary/the-publicity-dilemma

If you would like to write HBO click here:

I am sick to my stomach. I can't belive that some one would sell themselfs like that.
