I love you Benson. Even if you are into everything, and you think the sign "MILK" means "WANT NOW!". You are a joy. LOVE!
a short sometimes detailed view into my world.
Oh the joy of Oklahoma. We may have missed out on the tornado's but don't worry we had pretty sever grass fires. We ended up helping out some friends who had been evacuated because of emergency personnel. Makes me nervous. Matt wants to get a safe room.
We did have some fun this weekend though which was great! Saturday the winds calmed down long enough for the annual hospital Easter egg hunt... which is really, "Look! We threw 13,264 candy filled eggs on the lawn! Clean them up now!"
So we did. But the waiting just about killed us.We had a lot of fun. They had some of those giant blow up toys, bounce house, slide and a gauntlet style obstacle course. Very gladiator. Very fun.
Also I am getting crazy. I said to myself, You know self... you make a lot of crafts and your house is turning into craft house... you should stop... NO WAY dream on self...ok well you got to do something bout it all... ok I will start to sell them self... you win. SO.... I am. check out my other blog. MissMelissBoutique.blogspot.com
I figured out that I can put pictures that were on my phone on to the computer this week. . . I know I am cool like that. So I thought I would share a few of my faves.
So this one makes me laugh my head off! Gabe had just moved into his big boy bed and also learned how to get out of it. well I was not going to back down from nap time still... so I locked him in his room.... I may or may not still do this... Anyway, he banged on the door, no answer and eventually decided he would well... you get it.
This sweet picture of Benson on his blessing day. He is so sweet and tiny and is so comfy on Aunt Amy.
Monster sticker fun!
We were in OKC at a wedding reception and the sun was setting, and my two (at the time) boys were playing. So pretty.
Oh Gabe and Benson Brothers in Birthday hats!!!
I think I should Post some AMAZING photos of Bell Book and Candle, that play I was in that took up all of my craft, cleaning, and mommy time up.
This is Tim Kerbo. He played Shepard Henderson, opposite of me. He was SOOO great to work with. I am so thankful that he was cast. I learned so much from him! This is me... I am upside down... Why am I upside down? Well now all of you can see me by standing up and turning yourself on your noggin. Good job. Look at those eyebrows! Oh to wear fake eyelashes and flood pant all the time.
Well there are some other "AMAZING" ones in the paper... I hate that... When everyone gets to see the WORST pictures EVER of you. Don't you just LOVE THAT?! Oh well at least the ugly side of me gets to be famous. ;)
New goal. CRAFT all the time. Ignore my children and let the house FALL apart! Don't you think it is a great idea?! Seriously folks.
My amazing Typography board....
Some Blocks.
Valentines Banner.
(I LOVE my CRICUT!)
We had this "horrible" snow storm here last month... I am laughing.... School was closed for 4 days and my rehearsal was canceled for 2, and it melted and was clear by the 3rd... But Gabe had so much fun throwing snow balls at the brick wall. He was frozen solid by the time we made him go inside. Poor Benson was confused. But besides being out a car for a week and being really bugged that Oklahoma was so lame about a little snow, we escaped with no major damage.
OK. Here I am again. I have been busy as you can imagine. Lots of things have transpired and that means generally the blog gets left out the mix. Want a quick update?
Matt is in the bishopric, so Sundays are and have been CRAZY! (which is normally the perfect blogging time, but not so much anymore.
I was in a musical called The 25th annual Puttnam County Spelling Bee. That took up a lot of my weekdays... ok ALL of my weekdays.
I am currently in another play called Bell Book and Candle, and that seems to be taking up ALL my days... not just night time. So much work, but soo fun!
We have been exploring out new State a little bit more and have been here and there and back a few times.
And a few other fun and not fun things that have happened in the last 7 months... yes 7.
WELCOME BENSON! On June 25th at 6.00 Matt and I went to the hospital, where I was induced into labor. I can't believe how smoothly everything went and before I could push a second time Benson was born at 1.20 pm. He weighed 7lbs and 5oz and was 20 inches long. He is perfectly healthy and is already on a pretty good schedule and will be sleeping through the night before long... (right?)
We were so blessed to have my Momma Lisa, BrotherJosh, and Sister Toni for the next week. Gabe was thrilled too.
I can tell Gabe and Ben will be best friends already, Gabe Loves his baby brother and hasn't tried to harm him in any way... yet. I hope it stays that way. More to come later, when I have a little more time and a nap under my belt. :)
